Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD, CPTSD, C+PTDS) is more common than people realize. Any form of trauma, real or imagined can, over time, result in a person experiencing aspects of post traumatic stress.

What are Symptoms of PTSD?

This book presents a detailed and concise explanation of post traumatic stress which allows one assess oneself and start immediate intervention.

Common symptoms of PTSD are;

  • Persistent memories, flashbacks or thoughts about the trauma,
  • Feeling depressed or generally low and pointless because of the trauma,
  • Avoiding situations and people associated with your trauma,

If you are experiencing some of these, then the information in the book can really help you!

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – Self Analysis

The core principle presented in the book revolves around a system of visually breaking down the experience and filtering out relevant and irrelevant emotions associated with the trauma. Motor coordination and free association techniques are used for this.

These filtered emotions are then practically used to re-frame and re build your response to the trauma which results in understanding and resilience for the future.

Future Stress Resilience

Once you have processed your “stuff”, you need to be able to cope in the future!

Resilience building life changes are discussed which will bring about lasting changes.

“PTSD” was written by Craig Cox Ph.D. and is based on his stress management coaching seminars that he has been conducting since 2010. The material is compiled form over 30 years of study and practical experience.
